Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall.
Confucius
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
Walking is one of the best ways to exercise: it's free, you can do it almost anywhere, you can take your dogs, husband, kids, a friend along with you, there is scenery, it's not boring, and it's GOOD for you! A walk after dinner can also reduce gas, indigestion and heart burn. and who knows, while you're out there, you might actually meet your neighbors!
ReplyDeleteOver a year, you can lose fifteen pounds from just walking. Walk, walk, walk. But I am not walking when it is -13 F! Sorry. I am a wuss.

I walk Brutus every morning before I leave for work and usually at least one other time either during the day or evening. I always dread the walk but when I get out there I love it. I sincerely think I have an allergy to movement!
