I may put a piece of metal on the bottom of the door so that the wood doesn't rot when it gets splashed from the rain. I haven't decided. It used to open from left to right (which makes no sense at all.) Next up, seal the foundation then paint it.

I think a piece of metal at the bottom is a good idea.. I also think you have done a fabulous job!
